Good News, Bad News

Good News:

BP cares about the small people.  This is really great news; I don't know what the fuck you people are all worried about.  Seriously.  

Bad News:

They just don't make Jesus like they used to.  

Good News:

The Japanese went out and said "Hello!"—it might have been "Konnichiha!" come to think of it—to a nearby (1.25 billion miles nearby) comet and then came back with some samples.  You might say it made an entrance.

Bad News:

This tweet from CNN was in my timeline this morning.  In related news, America is totally fucked.   

Good News:

Republican Joe Barton is not a representative of any state I've ever lived in.  It's also good that he's not sitting on any important committees or anything.

Bad News:

My World Cup bracket is looking pretty shaky at this point, but so long as the Dutch are still alive, hope spings eternal!
