Friday Live: "Ring of Fire" by Social Distortion

The difference between a good cover and a bad cover, is the ability to recreate or pay hommage to the emotion of the original piece.  In a very rare case the cover band can actually bring a whole new emotion to a song without distressing the integrity of the original.  This manages to create a whole new song out of the same lyrics.  It's rarer still to do so with a song that is already a classic in its own right.  For all of these reasons, this will forever be my favorite cover of all time.
